Phonics and Reading
Phonics
Staff introduce phonics to children in Reception using the government approved DfE scheme Twinkl and this is then used to support the teaching of children in years 1 and 2.
Reading Scheme
Staff use a variety of reading schemes for children to gain a love of reading. These include Oxford Reading Tree, Big Car, Bug Club and Project X.
